A meeting was held with Chung Hae-hwon, Chairperson of the Incheon Metropolitan City Council of the Republic of Korea, to review the implementation of previously discussed cooperation initiatives and to exchange views on ways to further expand bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail opportunities for cooperation in the development of the Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone. Chairperson Chung Hae-hwon expressed his interest in promoting mutual exchanges of knowledge and experience and in formalizing cooperation at the level of agreements and memoranda of understanding.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Chairperson Chung Hae-hwon congratulated Mongolia on the Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone becoming one of the first five participants to join the AI City Initiative, an artificial intelligence–based urban development initiative.
