B.Saranchimeg, Governor of the Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone, received and held a meeting with the representatives of Urban Plus, a Shanghai-based company of the People’s Republic of China specializing in free economic zones and urban planning. During the meeting, the planning framework of the Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone was presented, and the parties exchanged views on potential cooperation in future design and urban planning projects.
Urban Plus has developed the master plans for several free economic zones in China. The company also introduced its proposal submitted to the international open competition for the development concept of Khunnu City, including the section related to the planning of the Free Economic Zone. Furthermore, the representatives expressed their strong interest in contributing to and collaborating on the planning and urban development of Mongolia’s Free Economic Zones
