In line with Mongolia’s long-term development policy, B. Saranchimeg, Governor of the Khushig Valley Economic Free Zone, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kim Dong-gin, Chairman of the Board of the Mongolia–Korea Economic Cooperation Association. Under this MoU, the parties will cooperate in areas including investment promotion, the introduction of new technologies, providing information to South Korean government agencies, private investors, and business operators about the activities and infrastructure of the Khushig Valley Economic Free Zone, creating opportunities for conducting business within the zone, conducting joint research on its development, and exchanging knowledge, experience, and information.

The Mongolia–Korea Economic Cooperation Association was established in 2016 with the aim of fostering Mongolia–Korea cooperation and creating a favorable environment for investment.
