Yun Won-Seok, Director of the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ), visited Mongolia and met with the leadership of the Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone. During the meeting, both parties expressed their desire to collaborate on regional development, smart city solutions, investment, and international cooperation.
Yun Won-Seok is a key decision-maker responsible for guiding Incheon’s smart city development, overseeing IFEZ’s strategic planning, investment, and international partnership policies. He is recognized for implementing smart city projects at an international level.
As part of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Incheon Free Economic Zone and the Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone, opening opportunities to introduce Incheon’s extensive experience, best practices in smart city development, and innovation ecosystem to Mongolia. This collaboration is considered a significant step in supporting infrastructure development, investment climate, and the advancement of innovative technologies in Khushig Valley
IFEZ has organized internationally recognized initiatives such as the Smart City Summit, Startup Park, and the AI City Initiative, positioning Incheon as a global model for smart cities. Furthermore, IFEZ has announced its vision to further develop Incheon into an AI-driven “AI City.”
