The “Smart City Summit 2025” international forum, held at the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ), concluded successfully, bringing together over 70 representatives from 17 countries to share experiences and innovative solutions in smart city development.

During the forum, Mongolia’s “Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone” officially joined as a member and signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate with IFEZ, marking a significant step forward for Mongolia’s smart city development goals.

The event featured leaders from cities worldwide and top technology companies, facilitating extensive discussions on smart city innovation, modernization, green infrastructure, data and cybersecurity, and emerging trends in urban planning.

Participants explored opportunities for collaboration and investment while exchanging experiences, contributing to strengthening IFEZ as a regional hub for smart city development and technological innovation.

In his keynote address, Yun Won-Sok, Director of the Incheon Free Economic Zone, highlighted: “The AI City initiative represents a new philosophy in which the city learns from data and proactively enhances citizens’ lives. The Incheon Free Economic Zone will continue to serve as a sustainable center for innovation and international collaboration.
