During the meeting, we discussed ways to expand and strengthen our cooperation with the International Financial Center, including opportunities for collaboration with the UK Government and relevant organizations. Additionally, we exchanged views on establishing an International Financial Center in the Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone, as well as the necessary legal and regulatory framework, best international practices, and key issues to focus on during implementation.
The Government of Mongolia’s Action Program for 2024–2028 includes the goal of creating the legal framework for establishing an International Financial Center. Additionally, with the approval of the General Plan for the Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone in 2025, a new phase has begun in the implementation of this project.
