Ambassador Shen Minjuan of the People’s Republic of China and relevant officials were received for a meeting, during which the progress of the development of the Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone was presented and views were exchanged.
The People’s Republic of China is a global leader with extensive experience in establishing and successfully implementing special economic and development zones.
Relevant professional institutions and investors from China were invited to participate in the development of Mongolia’s Khushig Valley Free Economic Zone.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that Hainan Island of the PRC has now become an island-wide free trade zone, and the importance of cooperation among free zones in Mongolia was emphasized. Ambassador Shen Minjuan also expressed China’s willingness to generously share its knowledge and experience in establishing and successfully operating special economic and development zones, and to work together in support of this cooperation.
Appreciation was expressed to the Ambassador and her team for taking the time to meet and for providing valuable advice, along with best wishes for continued success.
