The Governor’s Office of the Khushig Valley Economic Free Zone is actively working to attract international investors for development efforts.
On January 20, 2026, Saranchimeg Batsukh, the Governor of the Khushig Valley Economic Free Zone, met with Kim Dong-Guen, the Chairman of the Board of the Mongolia-Korea Economic Support Conference (MKESC). They discussed ways to enhance cooperation with Korean investors to develop the Free Economic Zone (FEZ).
MKESC has opened a branch office in the Republic of Korea to support the Khushig Valley Economic Free Zone and attract investors from South Korea.
MKESC is dedicated to developing the Khushig Valley Economic Free Zone, in line with the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Governor’s Office on November 24, 2025.
During the meeting, the Governor expressed her gratitude to Kim Dong-Guen, the chairman of the Board of the MKESC, and his team for their proactive efforts in developing the Khushig Valley Economic Free Zone. He also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the branch office’s activities in the Republic of Korea and to expanding cooperation.
